This is really wierd but i think i will document some sort of wierd progress of a Minecraft caste build 'project' here.

The deal was to start building a big castle but as my own architectural skills fail i started searching for blueprints.
And then i stumbled upon a creative man who builds castles out of Lego. A man who goes by the name of Robert Carney. http://www.carneycastle.com/index.htm

The castle i singles oud thinking the task would be relatively beginner level project yet big enought o keep me occupied was Dover.

And as the project started 3 days ago now, it seemed easy enough. and then i found out that knowing how the outer walls work out is only half the job.
Building insides is equally challenging.
And as I started tackling the interiors i found that not only its equally challenging it was killing me. Because the castle thats blueprint layd one layer thick didnt seem impressive at all having first outer wall built had so much room inside that any of my previous creations would fit in there with room to spare.

So now one of many disclaimers: I'm building it after a lego blueprint (wich in itself is interpretation of the castle not 101% accurate replica.
I'm also building it in much wierder cube block world of minecraft and some parts i just need to change adapt or artistically improve to achieve the results.
And as my castle is only interpretation (very loose) then the commentary of it being wrong to call it Dover is not really apropriate. As the project is tribute to a tribute of a Dower.
And the insides - its even loser interpretation of the real thing due to me being only scale things with the accuracy of 1 meter. and my need to keep some Minecraft essentials within the castle i have rooms and stairs where i can not where they should be. and esthetics is the main goal not accuracy.

And at the end of the disclaimer i would like to thank Robert Carney for the immense work he has done. Congradulate him for each and every castle he has made. Special thanks of doing Kuressaare fort thats located at Saaremaa island on the west coast of Estonia(its the huge island on the map if you zoom in very very much)
And many many thanks for all the blueprints detailed, very detailed and general ones. progress shots of the castles. so i can atleast try to keep the Dover Dover'ish

Disclaimer2: the moat and ditch and water thats not present around the real Dower keep. (when i start adding pictures you know what i'm talking about) its MC specific req for defence against wildlife and chickens who are working heavily on the evil masterplan of destroying my work.

Have a nice day
and please. if you dont like typos, grammar errors and other misconduct of english language. never return. because i'm hopeless.

no idea why

... as the title says i have no idea whatsoever why i created blog.
Everyone has it why not me?
nope.... that does not sound right....
almost everyone who has something to say has it?
well.... i'm not everyone and i rarely have something to say and if i do... erm.... rarely as really really rarely.... My good idea growth is measured in years so once every 30 i think i get one... i'm not that old yet so its bound to happen soon.

Yep.. that must be it... to get a blog and write down outbursts of totally random not connected and not too logical things before my moment of glory (full 15 minutes) will arive and then to go back to the random mode hoping another idea hit before computers are out dated so badly that nobody blogs anymore this way we do it now...

Video rental is history now. I saw it on the news.. they have museums for it... see it tourself at youtube. I think i should put somekind of (TM) there to be politically correct. Seems wasteful tho to do it. Its way more fun to have another outburst on that topic some time later or right here to make people suffer trough reading somewhat delusional post.

i think its quite enough now.

P.S. I'm professional typo-maniac so typos for everyone and cookies too
